15 Years of Dumpster's Hockey

The Salty Cum Dumpsters are proud to be returning to the ice for it's 15th season on the NHL27 platform. Founded in 2012 in a dorm room in Knoxville, TN, the Dumpsters have grinding through ups and downs, roster changes, and adapting to rules and regulations in the EASHL. The next season is never guaranteed but one thing we know for certain is that the organization is fired up to deliver a roster to give the fans the best chance to witness greatness on and off the ice. Good Friday and Day2 of Tryouts

Dumpsters saw incredible success on night one of invite-only tryouts going 3-0 with one of the most dominant performances we have seen in SCD history. The Dumspters beat Findlaaaaay 7-2 with boys dominating SOGs 38-2, 68% possession, and a 86.1% faceoffs. You can see footage and highlights on Coffeeshoots69's twitch page.

Switching focus to tryouts, GM Musselwhipe has his eyes on one particular bull (name withheld). This prospect recorded 4 points in 3 games and contributed defensively with good positioning and 9 blocked shots. Invite for a day 2 tryout has been extended to this individual with final roster decisions made by midnight tonight.

Dumpsters Look to Add Depth

Less than three weeks away from the EASHL playoffs, the Salty Cum Dumpsters are looking to add depth to the roster for the first time since adding Likcrumb to the defensive unit. With uncertainty about player availability and the general lack of success in the postseason in the last two runs, the team discussed looking for outside talent to help the team breakthrough this year. A few names were discussed and the team will be hosting invite-only tryouts for all positions on 3/31/26 (player names are being withheld until results are finalized). Evaluations and medical checks will be held with the results coming out by the end of the week. Stay tuned to find out if any of the prospies will be wearing the Dumpster right, white, and blue!

Dumpster Playoffs Are HERE!

Get ready for another Dumpster playoff run this Thursday night 2/26/26. The guys are in their new twink era and are faster than ever. The Dumpsters had a good warm-up session Tuesday afternoon going 2-0 with heavy SOGs and shut down fore checking. Earl and Puckflaps saw good success in 3s last week as well preparing for the playoff run. As of right now all members on the team are healthy and are good to go for Thursday night with Likcrumb status being Questionable only playing 3 games so far this season and Fuhrburger Goocherov still being Inactive with no contact with the team.

TEAM USA TAKES THE GOLD!!! 🇺🇸

The Salty Cum Dumpsters want to officially wish the United States of America's Mens Hockey Team on winning the Gold Medal at the 2026 Winter Olympics held in Milano-Cortina, Italy. The team went 3-0 in group play winning against Lativia, Germany, and Denmark. The men won against Sweeden and Slovakia in the tournament play leading up to what the world was waiting to see; the heavily anticipated match against Team Canada in the Finals. Team USA won the game in overtime with an outstanding performance from all but most notably the goalie Connor Hellebuyck and game winner shooter Jack Hughes. This is the first time the men's team has won gold since winning against the Soviet Union in 1980 in Lake Placid, NY.
